MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641069125 A) filed by Marchmind Technologies OPC Private Limited on June 02, 2026, for Secure Bidirectional Communication System For Low-Power Wide-Area Networks.
Inventor includes Malleswaran, Sivakumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: A communication system for operation in a low-power wide-area network subject to duty-cycle, dwell-time, channel occupancy, transmission-time, or equivalent regulatory transmission constraints includes a hub device (102), a bidirectional wireless communication channel (106), and a plurality of remote devices (104). Each communication packet includes a network identifier and a device identifier. The hub device initiates request-response communication, and each remote device generates a response only when both identifiers match. Data transfer uses segmented packet transmission with packet-level error detection and selective retransmission. Each remote device includes firmware management configured to store protected golden firmware and encrypted firmware image files for firmware replacement and autonomous recovery while preserving persistent configuration data.
