Abstract: Techniques for facilitating secure digital media content capture on digital image and media capturing devices are disclosed. In operation, a visual code is displayed. An image of the visual code is then received from a digital media capturing device. The visual code is then compared with the image of the visual code to determine that a similarity between the visual code and 10 the image of the visual code is above a threshold. Based on the determination, a secure image capture session on the digital media capturing device is initiated.
