Abstract: A security system for residential complexes, comprising a bot 101 mounted on motorized omnidirectional wheels 102, an artificial intelligence (AI) camera 103 integrated with a LiDAR sensor 104 to detect security threats in complexes, a verification arrangement includes a plurality of RGB cameras 105, thermal sensors 106, and directional microphones 107 housed in a probe 108 and integrated on a proximal end of a rotating vertical mast 109 to provide complete situational awareness of the site, a deterrence arrangement includes a plurality of LEDs 110, a set of retractable rectangular barrier plates 112, a net-gun 113 to physically restrain identified intruder, a non-volatile memory for storing captured image, audio recordings, timestamps, and event classification, a user interface to enable real-time notifications to residents and neighbourhood security authorities, a processing unit embedded with artificial intelligence (AI) protocols, operatively coupled to the mechanical and electronic components of the bot 101.
