MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109672 A) filed by G. L. Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management on September 12, 2026, for Selective Article-Transfer Apparatus For Hyperlocal Marketplace Fulfillment Systems.
Inventors include Muskan Gupta; Mansi Agarwal; Krishu Kumar; Kushagra Srivastava; and Dr. Azhar Shadab.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a hyperlocal marketplace fulfillment apparatus for selectively releasing an ordered article for self-pickup or worker delivery. A frame defines a loading station, a pickup outlet, and a delivery outlet. An article carrier moves from a loading position to a pickup position or a delivery position aligned with the corresponding outlet. Pickup and delivery gates close the respective outlets. A selector linkage couples the carrier and gates so that movement toward one outlet maintains the other gate locked. A loading closure has an interlock preventing carrier movement while the closure is open. Respective release members unlock only the gate aligned with the article carrier, permitting removal of the ordered article solely through the selected outlet.
