Some implementations automatically identify the portion(s) of the electronic document, automatically generate the generative content based on the identified portion(s), and/or automatically render the generative content or an indication of availability of the generative content. Various implementations can automatically identify portion(s), for an electronic document, based on historical interaction data that reflects historical interactions with the portion(s). Various implementations can additionally or alternatively utilize user engagement data in automatically identifying portion(s) for an electronic document or other content. The user engagement indicates a measure of engagement by a user with portion(s) of the content.
