Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for wireless communications. A method includes receiving a configuration of a plurality of sets of wake-up signal (WUS) monitoring instances, wherein the plurality of sets of WUS monitoring instances are associated with a plurality of discontinuous reception (DRX) -on cycles, wherein each set of WUS monitoring instances, of the plurality of sets of WUS monitoring instances, comprises a plurality of WUS monitoring instances; receiving a first WUS prior to a first DRX-on cycle of the plurality of DRX-on cycles, wherein the first WUS comprises: an indication of whether to start an on duration timer for the first DRX-on cycle and an indication to report one or more predictions corresponding to the plurality of WUS monitoring instances; and sending an indication of the one or more predictions.
