Abstract: The present innovation relates to an advanced self-adaptive 3D printing system integrating intelligent material deposition, real-time sensing, artificial intelligence-based defect detection, and automatic process correction. The proposed system continuously monitors the additive manufacturing process during layer-by-layer material deposition and dynamically adjusts printing parameters to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and mechanical strength of fabricated components. The system incorporates a smart printing head equipped with optical, thermal, and material flow monitoring sensors. The collected real-time data is analyzed using an AI- based quality evaluation module to identify layer defects, deposition inconsistencies, and process deviations. Based on the detected conditions, an adaptive printer controller automatically modifies parameters such as nozzle temperature, deposition rate, printing speed, and movement trajectory. The innovation enables a closed- loop additive manufacturing environment capable of improving reliability, efficiency, and quality of 3D printed components.
