Abstract: The present invention provides a Self-Cleaning Reusable Shopping Bag with Integrated Automated Disinfection System. This system is a collapsible, waterproof shopping bag containing a built-in disinfection module comprising a UV-C light strip and/or ozone generator integrated within the inner lining or closing seam. Once the user completely closes the bag, the module activates a 5 to 10-minute automated cleaning cycle that removes 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and smells. The device includes safety interlocks that immediately shut off the UV-C and ozone functions if the bag is opened during operation. An additional antimicrobial lining provides passive protection, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for transporting groceries without requiring manual washing.
