Abstract: The present invention discloses a self-optimizing smart biogas generation system configured for the conversion of biodegradable organic waste into renewable energy through intelligent monitoring and adaptive process control. The system comprises a waste preprocessing unit, an anaerobic digestion chamber, a sensor network, a control unit, and an artificial intelligence-based optimization module operatively configured to monitor and regulate critical process parameters including temperature, pH, gas pressure, gas flow rate, and methane concentration in real time. Sensor-acquired data are continuously analyzed to predict process variations and automatically adjust operating conditions including feed rate, mixing intensity, and digestion parameters to enhance process stability and biogas yield. The invention further incorporates fault detection and safety mechanisms for identifying abnormal operating conditions including gas leakage, pressure fluctuations, and process imbalance, thereby enabling corrective control actions. The modular architecture of the system facilitates remote monitoring, data logging, and scalable deployment across residential, institutional, and small-scale industrial applications. In addition to biogas generation, the system enables the recovery of nutrient-rich digestate suitable for agricultural applications. By integrating artificial intelligence-based adaptive control with anaerobic digestion technology, the proposed invention provides an intelligent waste-to-energy platform for efficient organic waste utilization, renewable energy generation, and automated biogas process optimization.
