The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: A self-referencing structural health monitoring system, comprising a sensor array 102 distributed across a structure 101 to monitor physical condition, stability, and integrity of the structure 101, an acquisition interface records synchronized multi-channel vibration windows using a common clock, an operational modal identifier to extract a plurality of current modal parameters from the synchronized vibration windows, a mode correspondence tracker to match each extracted current mode to a physical baseline mode, a ratio-graph generator to construct a ratio graph having vertices defined by matched modes and a plurality of weighted edges, each edge storing a baseline-normalized logarithmic frequency ratio between a selected mode pair, a subspace estimator containing a low-rank environmental subspace learned exclusively from healthy operational periods, a projection module to project weighted edges against low-rank environmental subspace to generate a damage-sensitive residual vector, an anomaly-triggered freeze gate to completely halt learning updates to the low-rank environmental subspace.
