Abstract: ABSTRACT “SENSE AND AVOID SYSTEM” Embodiments herein provides a sense and avoid system (100). The sense and avoid system (100) includes a sensing system (110) including a stereovision camera setup (112) and an IMU onboard flight controller (114) to detect an obstacle. The stereovision camera setup (12) captures a depth image associated with the obstacle. The IMU onboard flight controller (114) captures pitch data associated with the obstacle. The sensing system (110) dynamically adjusts a Region of Interest (ROI) based on the pitch data and the depth image. The sensing system (110) communicated with an avoidance system (120). The avoidance system (120) includes a velocity controller (122) receiving the ROI from the sensing system (110). The avoidance system (120) avoids the obstacle in response to receiving the ROI from the sensing system (110). FIG. 1a
