Abstract: Sensor-Independent Web-Based Indoor Navigation System with Multi-Floor Pathfinding and Voice-Guided Blind Navigation. A sensor-independent, web-based indoor navigation system comprising integrated subsystems (Fig. 2) is disclosed. A multi-floor weighted A* path planning engine dynamically constructs a global directed graph by merging per-floor adjacency graphs with weighted inter-floor connectors (Fig. 3), while a floor-restricted room-to-node mapping eliminates cross-floor errors (Fig. 4). A server-side rendering module decomposes computed paths into floor segments and overlays them on floor plan images for sequential visualisation (Fig. 5). A voice-guided Blind Navigation Mode operates a finite state machine controlling microphone, audio output, and magnetometer sensors to provide step-wise navigation with orientation verification and corrective guidance (Fig. 6, Fig. 7). System interactions are illustrated in Fig. 1. The invention provides a scalable, lightweight framework enabling rapid deployment through JSON-based configuration without code-level modification.
