Abstract: The titled invention discloses an extractive distillation system for continuously separating an azeotropic mixture of tetrahydrofuran and water. The system utilizes a solid calcium chloride slurry delivered from a first storage tank (1) via a first pump (3) and the mixture delivered from a second storage tank (2) via a second pump (4) into a continuous distillation column (5). A reboiler (6) provides thermal energy, allowing purified tetrahydrofuran vapor to rise and condense in a condenser (7). The condensed liquid is managed by a reflux drum (8) and a ratio controller (15), ultimately depositing anhydrous tetrahydrofuran into a first receiving tank (9). The residual bottom liquid flows into an evaporator (11), which separates the waste liquid into a second receiving tank (10) and recovers the solid salt into a solid recovery tank (12).
