MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617060123 A) filed by Teijin Limited on May 12, 2026, for Separator For Nonaqueous Secondary Batteries, And Nonaqueous Secondary Battery.

Inventor includes Nishikawa, Satoshi.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: This separator for nonaqueous secondary batteries comprises: a porous base material; a heat-resistant layer that is disposed on one surface or both surfaces of the porous base material and contains inorganic particles and a binder resin; and an adhesive layer that is disposed on one surface or both surfaces of the laminate of the porous base material and the heat-resistant layer and contains acrylic resin particles. The mass ratio of the inorganic particles in the heat-resistant layer is 95 mass% or more, the average primary particle diameter of the inorganic particles contained in the heat-resistant layer is 0.01 µm to 0.30 µm, the binder resin includes at least one substance that is selected from the group consisting of a butadiene-based polymer and an acrylic resin, and the sum of the mass per unit area of the adhesive layer on both surfaces is 0.2 g/m2 to 0.5 g/m2.
