Abstract: A shock absorber (10) has a bracket (20) in which a columnar hole (22b), which is a cylindrical hole, is formed, and a cylindrical tube (31) that is supported by the bracket (20) and extends downward from the columnar hole (22b). A fixing part (F1) in which the tube (31) is fixed to the bracket (20) is formed at a position avoiding the lower end of the bracket (20). Preferably, the fixing part (F1) is configured by welding the upper end of the tube (31) to the bracket (20).
