The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SIGNALING METHODS FOR CONDITIONAL HANDOVER USING LOWER LAYER TRIGGERED MOBILITY AND ITS APPARATUS The present invention discloses a conditional handover (CHO) procedure alongside the legacy lower lay triggered mobility (LTM) procedures in which a UE decides on the target cell by evaluating the network based on the conditions configured by the source cell. The present invention further proposes methods to acquire timing advance (TA) information, transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state information, target preparation and the HO execution for various scenarios in the proposed conditional LTM procedure. The present invention even though is targeted towards the NR technology but could be extended to the future technologies.
