MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511001744 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Science Education And Research Iiser Mohali on January 08, 2025, for Single Domain Antibodies For Neutrilization Of Dengue Virus And Method Of Preparation Thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to antibodies which act against the Dengue virus (DenV). The disclosure particularly relates to single domain antibodies against the envelope protein of 5 dengue virus. The disclosure provides an antibody for neutralizing the proteins of the dengue virus particularly the envelope protein through which the virus interacts with the receptors expressed by the susceptible cells to initiate infection. The disclosure also provides a method for managing DenV pathogenesis using the neutralizing single domain antibody.
