MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641094546 A) filed by Xbattery Energy Private Limited on August 04, 2026, for Single-Inductor Dual-Output Dc–dc Converter System With Adaptive Safety-Priority Power Allocation And Method Of Operation.
Inventors include Sonu Mishra; and Sumit Ranjan Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a single-inductor dual-output DC–DC converter system (100) for supplying first and second electrical loads from a battery source. The system (100) comprises input terminals (102), a power-conversion stage (104) having an input switching circuit (106), a single inductor (108), an output-routing circuit (110), first and second regulated output rails (112, 116), and output capacitors (114, 118). A sensing circuit (120) generates feedback signals, while a pulse-width- modulation drive circuit (122) and a control circuit (124) regulate energy transfer. The control circuit (124) comprises an extended-state observer (126), an extended- state feedback controller (128), and an adaptive priority-allocation controller (130). During normal operation, both output rails are regulated. Upon a safety-priority condition, energy allocation to the safety-critical first output rail (112) is increased while closed-loop control of the secondary output rail (116) continues.
