Abstract: ABSTRACT A connector designed to use in conjunction with a solution generation system. Solution generation devices (SGD) are used to deliver ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (APD) therapy to users, specifically, to produce peritoneal dialysis (PD) solutions on-site, in a patient’s home, prior to and during therapy. The SGD automatically prepares reconstituted PD solution from appropriate volumes of water and concentrates. The connector assembly includes a design to securely lock a first connector and a second connector in place, to prevent leaks in between the first and second connectors, to avoid contamination, and to allow users of this device with limited dexterity to rotate the connector with ease.
