Abstract: The present disclosure provides a sling (100) equipped with one or more indicator mechanism (107) and a method (200) thereof. The sling (100) includes a core yarn (101) made of one or more fibers, and a strand (102) coupled to the core yarn (101). The strand (102) is further connected to a pouch (104) as an indicator mechanism (107) that contains a pre-filled material configured to provide one or more warnings. When a load exceeding a preset threshold is applied to the core yarn (101), the pouch (104) releases the pre-filled material to indicate overload warning. The fibers in the core yarn (101) include cellulose or synthetic fibers. The sling (100) also include one or more covers (104) encloses the core yarn (101) and strand (102). The strand (102) further coupled to the one or more sensors (106) to sense one or more warnings alerts.
