Abstract: A smart artificial intelligence framework for real-time patient monitoring and predictive health analytics is disclosed. The framework comprises a data acquisition subsystem that continuously acquires physiological data from a patient through a plurality of wearable and ambient sensors; a data processing subsystem that conditions the acquired data by noise reduction, artifact rejection, and feature extraction; and an analytics subsystem employing trained machine learning models for multivariate time-series analysis to assess the patient's current condition against a continually updated patient-specific baseline and to predict adverse health events before clinical manifestation. Analytics are distributed between an edge device and a remote server to ensure operation during connectivity loss. An alerting subsystem delivers prioritized, interpretable notifications to caregivers, reducing alarm fatigue, while a secure data management infrastructure encrypts patient data and integrates it with clinical records. The framework optionally coordinates closed-loop therapeutic adjustments, enabling proactive care across hospital, ambulatory, and home settings.
