MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641080307 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on June 30, 2026, for Smart And Interactive Candy Dispenser.

Inventors include Vaggu Santhosh Kumar; Dr. V. Nagaraju; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

Abstract: This project presents a Smart and Interactive Candy Dispenser which aims to promote learning through engagement via rewards. The dispenser displays simple math problems to then require the user to solve problems accurately to access one candy. With the introduction of a microcontroller, keypad, and servo motor which worked independently of each other to provide a unique experience in-thecandydispensing and educationahrealm Tor,children and students rOnce the correct answeris entered using the keypad the microcontroller will check the answer instantly. If the answer is correct, it will illuminate a green LED and display the phrase "GOOD LUCK!" while it actively allows the servo gate to dispense a candy. If an answer is incorrect, the device will display "TRY AGAIN" or "BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME" and illuminate a red LED without dispensing candy. This serves as instant feedback which promotes learning, increases accuracy, and motivates the user to think about their answer before responding. The overall configuration has a small candy storage component, an easy dispensing mechanism, and a safe 5V electronic control making it reliable and safe for children to use. This project demonstrates how simple embedded systems can be used to build interactive learning tools that engage children in active learning. This design is applicable for school assignments, science fairs, and smart-toy products where learning and fun value are equally weighted.
