Abstract: Electrical overload and voltage fluctuations are critical issues in DC-based systems, leading to equipment damage, reduced efficiency, and safety hazards. With the increasing use of DC loads such as motors and fans in domestic and industrial applications, there is a growing need for intelligent monitoring systems that provide early warnings before fault conditions occur. This project proposes a Smart DC Electrical Load Warning System using an ESP32 microcontroller for real-time monitoring and protection. The system integrates a current sensor (ACS712) and a voltage sensor to continuously measure load parameters. A toggle switch enables mode selection between low-voltage and over-voltage conditions, enhancing system flexibility. Based on predefined thresholds, the system classifies operation into Safe, Warning, and Overload states. Visual indications are provided using three LEDs (green, yellow, red), while a buzzer delivers audible alerts during abnormal conditions. The setup is tested with DC loads such as a DC motor and DC fan to validate real-time performance. The proposed system is compact, cost-effective, and suitable for various DC applications. It improves safety, prevents damage, and ensures efficient load management through proactive monitoring.
