Abstract: Smart emergency exit window is the proposed invention. In the case of a fire accident situation the passengers of a bus have to leave the vehicle as quickly as possible. To do that they use every kind of exit available for the evacuation. The main objective of this project is to facilitate quicker and safer evacuation of passengers in case of any fire accident by providing a smart emergency exit windows system. The integrated windows release mechanism controlled by various smoke sensors installed at various locations inside the bus, car and trains helps in activating through the emergency windows. This reduces the time that the passenger takes to exile the bus as the need for break opening of the windows is avoided. This system also facilitates increased number of exit points for the passengers by changing all or some of the windows into exit windows.
