Abstract: The present invention relates to a Smart Fog-Adapted Lighting System designed to improve visibility during foggy conditions. The system uses fog-density, visibility, humidity, and backscatter sensors to automatically adjust the color, brightness, and beam pattern of the light in real time. It features dynamic wavelength switching between yellow, warm white, and white to reduce scatter and improve fog penetration. A micro-pattern projection module displays dots, lines, or grid patterns on the road to enhance depth perception and distance judgment. The lighting output is divided into a triple-layer beam consisting of a near-field beam, side beam, and low- scatter forward beam for clearer visibility at multiple ranges. A backscatter feedback loop continuously monitors reflected light and modifies the illumination to prevent glare. An integrated AI-based controller selects the optimal beam angle, pattern, and wavelength based on sensor data. The system provides significantly improved safety and visibility compared to traditional fog lamps.
