Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart health monitoring system integrated with an infusion pump using embedded Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system comprises biomedical sensors configured to continuously monitor patient vital parameters including heart rate and body temperature, a pressure sensor to detect fluid line variations, and an infrared sensor to measure infusion flow rate. An embedded microcontroller processes the sensed data and controls the operation of the infusion pump based on predefined conditions to ensure safe and accurate fluid delivery. The system further includes a communication module to transmit real-time patient data and infusion status to a remote IoT platform, enabling continuous remote monitoring by medical personnel. An alert mechanism is provided to generate notifications during abnormal health conditions or infusion irregularities. The proposed system improves patient safety, reduces manual intervention, and enhances efficiency in healthcare environments.
