Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a smart helmet system (100) for blind spot detection and real-time warning for two-wheeler riders. The system (100) includes a helmet structure (102) with an outer shell and inner padding, blind spot detection sensors (104), a microcontroller (106), vibration motors (108), and an audio alert system (110). The sensors (104) monitor blind spot zones surrounding the rider. The microcontroller (106) receives sensor data, determines presence of approaching vehicles in blind spot zones, and calculates their distance and relative speed. Direction-specific alert signals are generated for detected blind spot zones, with alert intensity adaptively adjusted based on distance and relative speed, producing graduated warnings. The vibration motors (108) embedded in the inner padding and the audio alert system (110) near ear regions deliver haptic alerts and audio beeps, providing the rider with timely directional warnings.
