MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641086250 A) filed by V. P. Divya; and M. C. Vasanthakumar on July 14, 2026, for Smart Identification Card Holder System And Method For Context Aware Detection And Graded Emergency Assistance.
Inventor includes V. Jhanvi.
The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: An integrated electronic safety system (100) embedded within a school identification card holder form factor comprises a protective card casing (302) enclosing a local processing unit (110), a multi-sensor assembly (120), a wireless communication engine (130), and an event-driven power regulation infrastructure (140). The local processing unit (110) executes an automated method that processes real-time kinetic, physiological, and acoustic signal data streams from the multi-sensor assembly (120), derives normalized abnormality parameters, and calculates a cumulative confidence score. The score serves as an objective hardware control value that selectively regulates gated power rails within the power regulation infrastructure (140) to transition the system (100) from a de-energized baseline monitoring mode to an active transmission state. Graded alert payloads are constructed and dispatched via the wireless communication engine (130) to a classified tier of institutional responders based directly on the magnitude of the score.
