The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: [041] The present invention relates to a smart medication blister strip having integrated dose-removal detection, time-stamped adherence monitoring, and schedule-deviation alert generation. The blister strip includes a plurality of medicine cavities, cavity- associated sensing elements, an embedded control circuit, a timing unit, and a memory unit. Upon removal of a medicament unit from a selected cavity, the corresponding sensing element generates an event signal that is processed by the control circuit to identify the cavity, assign time information, and store a removal record. The control circuit compares the detected event with a predefined medication schedule to identify compliant, missed, delayed, repeated, or overdose-indicative events. The strip may further include a flexible printed circuit, an alert module, a communication module, and a thin power source or energy-harvesting arrangement. The invention enables cavity-level confirmation of medicine removal directly at the blister-strip level and is useful for adherence monitoring in chronic care, geriatric care, telemedicine, and clinical treatment programs.
