Abstract: A smart modular electric vehicle (EV) battery swapping system (100) is disclosed. The modular battery units (104) comprise embedded battery management system (150) for monitoring operational parameters. A user authentication and interface module (106) initiates battery exchange, while an automatic battery-handling unit (108) having Omni-directional mobility wheels (130) and a robotic manipulator arm (110) performs battery removal and installation through an engaging module (112). A vision-based recognition unit (114), compatibility verification module (116), vehicle- positioning platform (118) with embedded sensors (146) and laser projection alignment module (120) coordinate precise exchange operations. A dynamic charging control module (122), communication and control module (124), and collision avoidance unit (126) collectively enable rapid automated battery swapping with reduced operational downtime.
