Abstract: ABSTRACT: Smart Shopping Trolley with Real-Time Billing and Dynamic Weight Verification System This invention describes an intelligent smart shopping trolley system configured to automate retail purchasing operations through real-time product identification, verification, and billing. The system integrates multi-mode product identification mechanisms including RFID, barcode, NFC, and optical sensing to detect items placed within the trolley. A distributed spatial weight sensing arrangement enables dynamic verification of product addition and removal by correlating weight variations with identified items. An embedded control unit processes identification and weight data to generate real-time billing information and detect discrepancies indicative of unverified products. A user-facing display interface provides continuous updates of product details and cumulative cost. The system further incorporates wireless communication to synchronize data with a centralized retail management system and supports seamless checkout through QR-based digital payment. The invention eliminates conventional checkout queues, enhances billing accuracy, and improves operational efficiency in modern retail environments.
