Abstract: The Smart Hybrid Street Lighting System using Solar, Wind, and Piezoelectric Energy is an innovative renewable energy-based project designed to provide sustainable and energy-efficient street lighting. The system integrates three different energy sources: solar panels to harvest sunlight, a wind turbine to generate power from wind energy, and piezoelectric sensors to convert mechanical pressure from vehicle movement into electrical energy. The generated energy is processed and stored in a rechargeable battery for continuous operation. An LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor is incorporated to automate the street lighting process by switching the LED street light ON during nighttime and OFF during daytime. This automatic control reduces unnecessary power consumption and improves overall energy efficiency. The use of multiple renewable energy sources increases system reliability and ensures power availability under varying environmental conditions. The proposed system aims to reduce dependence on conventional electricity, lower energy costs, and promote the use of clean energy technologies. It can be applied in highways, smart cities, rural roads, parks, and public areas where sustainable lighting solutions are required. The project demonstrates the practical implementation of hybrid renewable energy system.
