Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of Internet of Things (loT) based home automation systems utilizing embedded microcontrollers for remote appliance control. The technical problem addressed is the lack of cost-effective, low-power solutions for remotely controlling multiple household appliances via smartphones, which existing systems fail to provide through wired or complex wireless setups. The invention solves this by integrating a Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller with a relay module for appliance switching, HC05 Bluetooth module for smartphone communication, 7805 voltage regulator, DC jack, adaptor, and PCB for stable power management and modular assembly. The system enables users to monitor and regulate household devices remotely, optimizing energy consumption and supporting scalability for renewable energy integration, thereby providing convenient, secure smart home control.
