The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: This invention presents a Smart USB-Based Accident Detection And Emergency Alert System designed to enhance road safety and drastically reduce emergency response times. The system is integrated into a USB-based plug-and-play form factor, allowing for universal compatibility across various vehicle models. The device utilizes a vibration sensor to identify high-frequency mechanical impacts ( 60 Hz) characteristic of vehicle collisions and a DHT11 temperature sensor to monitor for potential fire risks or overheating (threshold 50°C). To ensure high reliability and minimize the deployment of emergency resources for minor incidents. Upon confirmation of an emergency, the system employs a Neo-6M GPS module to triangulate precise real-time coordinates. These coordinates are processed using the Haversine algorithm for accurate distance calculation and are formatted into a clickable Google Maps link. This information is then automatically transmitted via a SIM800 GSM module as an SMS distress signal to pre-configured emergency contacts and authorities.Additionally, the system supports Geofencing to monitor vehicle boundaries and pushes real-time data to cloud platforms such as Firebase for remote monitoring and historical logging. By automating the detection and notification process, this invention provides a critical life-saving solution that functions independently of the victim's ability to call for help.
