The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A wearable personal safety device (100) for women is disclosed. The device comprises a wearable band housing (102) containing a microcontroller (104), a physiological sensor (106), a pressure sensor (108), a motion sensor (110), a location module (112), a communication module (114), and an alert mechanism (116). The physiological sensor (106) monitors heart rate or stress-related conditions, while the pressure sensor (108) and motion sensor (110) detect unwanted physical contact, impact, fall, or abnormal movement. When sensor values exceed predefined thresholds, the microcontroller (104) identifies an emergency condition and automatically activates the communication module (114) to transmit an alert message with real-time location information to pre-registered contacts. Simultaneously, the alert mechanism (116) generates a local alarm. The device may further include a manual panic switch (120) and a deterrent module (124) for self-defence.
