Abstract: ABSTRACT SMART WINDOW SYSTEM FOR GAS LEAK DETECTION AND VENTILATION The present invention relates to a smart window system (100) to enhance safety in residential and industrial places by detecting hazardous gas leaks and responding automatically. The Arduino Uno microcontroller unit (102) at the heart of the system is connected to a gas sensor unit (101) that can detect the presence of harmful gasses like carbon monoxide, methane, or LPG. The microcontroller unit (102) activates a linear actuator in actuator unit (103) to open the window in order to ventilate the space and lower the concentration of gas exceeds a certain predefined threshold. This automated response system ensures prompt ventilation without the need for human involvement, greatly reducing the risk of fire, explosion, or health concerns. Additionally, the compact and modular design of the system (100) allows for easy installation and scalability.
