Abstract: SMART WOUND HEALING BANDAGE WITH IoT-BASED REAL-TIME MONITORING AND AUTOMATED DRUG DELIVERY Abstract The present invention relates to an IoT-based smart wound healing bandage system (100) for continuous monitoring and management of wound conditions. The system comprises a flexible bandage (100 (a)) configured for placement over a wound area (112) and integrated with multiple biosensors including a temperature sensor (102), pH sensor (103), moisture sensor (104), and infection sensor (105) for detecting physiological and biochemical parameters. Sensor data is processed by a microcontroller unit (106) and transmitted via a wireless communication module (107) to a cloud server (109) for storage and analysis. The system enables real-time monitoring through a doctor’s monitoring station (110) and a mobile application (111), providing alerts for timely intervention. The bandage further includes a drug delivery layer (116) for controlled release of therapeutic agents. The invention enables continuous, non-invasive, and closed-loop wound management.
