Abstract: SMARTWATCH FOR ASSESSMENT OF STOMACH FULLNESS ABSTRACT A smartwatch (100) for assessment of stomach fullness. The smartwatch (100) comprising a bio-impedance electrode (102) adapted to measure stomach volume and gastric motility signals; a near infrared spectroscopy sensor (104) adapted to capture interstitial fluid data associated with proteins, vitamins, minerals, and glucose levels; a sweat analysis sensor (106) adapted to obtain hydration-related parameters comprising electrolyte concentration and body water sufficiency indicators; and a processing unit (108). The smartwatch (100) is configured to: receive the stomach volume and the gastric motility signals, the interstitial fluid data, and the hydration-related parameters; process and fuse the stomach volume and the gastric motility signals, the interstitial fluid data, and the hydration-related parameters to generate a unified nutritional and hydration profile; and estimate stomach fullness level, nutrient absorption status, and hydration sufficiency status in real time.
