Abstract: The Snehitha SafeNest invention is a system and method for identifying, recording, assessing and responding to incidents of domestic violence through a secure digital platform referred to as “SafeNest.” The invengtioratnes inmteobile application technology, risk assessment algorithms, centralized case management, emergency response mechanisms, and coordinated social support services to provide timely intervention for survivors of domestic violence. This system enables users to confidentially report incidents of domestic violence through a smartphone application using secure login with geo location access. The application collects incident specific information, including physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual violence, economic violence, threats to life, child involvement, and frequency of violence. The system processes the information through an AI supported risk assessment engine to classify cases into low, moderate and high-risk categories. A unique feature of the invention is the automated emergency trigger mechanism for high-risk cases, wherein alerts are transmitted in real time to District Snehitha, Police Station and Emergency contact. The system further provides survivors with integrated service options including counselling, police support, home visits, short and long-term shelter, legal assistance and psychological intervention and follow up services. The invention aims to strengthen coordinated responses to domestic violence, improve accessibility to support services, facilitate data-driven intervention planning and enhance survivor safety through predictive and real time digital support systems.
