Abstract: ABSTRACT SOFTWARE-CONTROLLED SELF-SUFFICIENT PROGRAMMABLE BATTERY SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED SUPERCAPACITOR AND MECHANICAL ENERGY HARVESTING The present invention discloses a software-controlled self-sufficient programmable battery system (100) for portable electronic devices that eliminates dependency on external charging hardware. The system comprises a lithium-ion battery cell (110), a mechanical energy harvesting module (130) with an electromagnetic generator (132) for converting device motion into electrical energy, a supercapacitor energy storage unit (140) for intermediate energy buffering, a power conditioning unit (120) for voltage adaptation, and a software-controlled charge management module (150) with a microcontroller unit (151), sensor array (152), communication interface (153), and voltage regulation circuit (154). The microcontroller programmatically controls energy transfer from the supercapacitor bank to the battery cell by regulating the potential difference to drive lithium ions from cathode to anode without external chargers or cables. The system supports user-configurable charging modes, real-time monitoring, and proactive thermal management, thereby providing an efficient, safe, and charger-free battery solution for modern electronic devices.
