Abstract: SOLAR POWERED ADVANCE WASTE SORTING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a system and method for solar-powered advance waste sorting. The solar-powered advance waste sorting system (100) comprises: solar panels (103), battery (105), cameras (109), Artificial Intelligence (AI) model unit, servo motors, waste compartments (113), ultrasonic sensor/ load cell, IoT module with App or SMS integration, microcontrollers and cloud interface. The AI model classifies the captured image of the waste item as recyclable, compostable, or landfill. Based on the AI output, the system (100) automatically triggers the servo motors to direct the waste item into a correct compartment (113). Further, the system (100) operates entirely off-grid and provides real- time fill-level alerts and data insights. The system and method of the present invention leads to accurate waste segregation, automated operation, improvement over existing bin architecture.
