The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a solar-powered air conditioning system for vehicles utilizing photovoltaic solar energy for cabin cooling. The system comprises at least one solar panel mounted on a vehicle roof, a charge controller, a rechargeable battery, a microcontroller-based control unit, and a DC cooling module. Solar energy generated by the photovoltaic panel is stored in the battery and used to operate a cooling fan or thermoelectric cooling device inside the vehicle cabin. The microcontroller monitors battery voltage and solar voltage and regulates operation of the cooling unit for efficient energy management. The invention reduces fuel consumption, minimizes battery drain, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and provides cooling even when the vehicle engine is switched OFF. The system offers a low- cost, eco-friendly, and energy-efficient solution for vehicle air conditioning applications.
