Abstract: ABSTRACT: Solar-Powered Intelligent Livestock Protection System with Dual-Trigger Threat Inference This invention describes a solar-powered intelligent livestock protection system for off-grid, rural, forest-edge, and low-connectivity farm enclosures. The system integrates predator-specific artificial-intelligence video analytics with behaviour-aware livestock panic detection to identify genuine predator threats while suppressing nuisance alarms caused by humans, domestic animals, harmless wildlife, vegetation movement, or routine livestock activity. A dual-trigger threat inference mechanism correlates external predator presence with internal livestock behavioural response and generates a threat confidence score for validating a livestock-threat event. Upon validation, the system automatically activates non-lethal deterrents, including acoustic, visual, or ultrasonic deterrent devices, and transmits evidence- based alerts through multiple rural communication channels. The alerts may include GPS-tagged location information, predator classification, threat severity, still images, short video clips, and live-view access. Offline store-and-forward connectivity preserves alert data during network unavailability, while adaptive event logging enables subsequent review, threshold refinement, and improved site-specific threat detection.
