The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: A solar-powered, Internet of Things based multi-sensor wildlife deterrent system for sustainable crop protection is disclosed. The system comprises one or more field- deployable nodes, each powered by a photovoltaic panel and battery, and equipped with a fusion of Passive Infra-Red, ultrasonic, vibration, and camera-based sensing to compute a composite intrusion-confidence score, thereby reducing false triggers characteristic of single-sensor prior art. Upon confirmed intrusion, the node activates a non-lethal acoustic-and-optical deterrent unit in progressively escalating stages to reduce animal habituation, while transmitting a real-time, geolocated alert, via a selectable Wi-Fi, GSM, or LoRa communication module, to a cloud server that notifies the farmer through a dedicated mobile application. The mobile application displays live node status, historical intrusion logs, and confidence data, and permits the farmer to remotely trigger or override the deterrent unit. The invention provides an energy-autonomous, low-false-trigger, and farmer-connected alternative to conventional fencing and single-sensor repellent devices for the protection of agricultural crops from wildlife intrusion.
