Inventors include K. Sri Vennela; Dr. Bharatha Devi; and Dr Ramya Mohan.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present situation of large numbers of deserted and neglected strays brings to light the issue of what we as a community need for a better rescue structure. At present animal rescue is a disorganized field which sees delayed responses, broken lines of communication, and little to no account of what is done with reported cases which in turn leads to reports of unprofessional and incomplete rescue. The SOS for Stray Animals puts forth an integrated and automated rescue which brings together citizens, NGOs, welfare centers, and government animal rescue into one platform. Through the use of geo tagged reports, simultaneous multi center notifications, real time case intake, open case tracking, and verified closure the system puts in place for quick and reliable rescue efforts. Also we have included a donation management module which allows users to give to present rescue cases or partner organizations with full transparency. By closing gaps in communication, coordination and verification this system creates a trustworthy and efficient rescue environment which in turn brings about faster response, greater collaboration and better animal care.h in turn h
