Abstract: A spoiler assembly (100) for a motor vehicle includes a passive spoiler blade (102) and an active spoiler blade (104) that moves pivotally relative to the passive spoiler blade (102). The active spoiler blade (104) moves into various operational positions with interference-free functionality due to a gap therebetween. A spoiler blade carrier plate (108), extending from the passive spoiler blade (102) toward the active spoiler blade (104), supports a sealing member (110) mounted between the passive spoiler blade (102) and the spoiler blade carrier plate (108). The sealing member (110) remains in continuous contact with a pivotal side edge of the active spoiler blade (104), sealing the gap throughout angular movement of the active spoiler blade (104).
