The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT STABLE AND BIOAVAILABLE LYCOPENE COMPOSITION A stable and bioavailable lycopene composition for oral administration is disclosed. The composition comprises a lycopene-containing material incorporated in a lipid-compatible matrix or a dry protective matrix together with at least one carrier material. The matrix reduces degradation of lycopene caused by oxygen, heat, light, reactive metal ions, and adverse storage conditions, while maintaining the lycopene in a form releasable under gastrointestinal conditions for micellar transfer and intestinal uptake. The lycopene-containing material may be obtained from plant- derived sources such as tomato and other lycopene-containing fruits or vegetables. The composition may further comprise auxiliary stabilizing constituents and may be formulated as powders, capsule fills, gels, syrups, suspensions, liquid concentrates, or semisolid preparations. The composition is prepared under controlled conditions to preserve active lycopene content during processing and storage.
