MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621073612 A) filed by Ankur Jain; and Anindita Tiwari on June 13, 2026, for State-Dependent Temperature Management System For Electrochemical Cells.
Inventor includes Ankur Jain.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT STATE-DEPENDENT TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL CELLS The present invention relates to a thermal management system (100) and method (200) for an electrochemical energy storage system. The system (100) comprises a state determination module (102) configured to determine an electrical state of one or more electrochemical cells, a temperature control module (104) configured to maintain a cell environment at a first temperature target during an active state and a second lower temperature target during a storage state, and a controller (106) configured to automatically switch between temperature targets based on electrical state change, wherein the storage state is an electrically isolated condition and the second temperature target reduces calendar-aging degradation. The method (200) comprises determining (202) electrical state, maintaining (204) the first temperature target during active state, detecting (206) storage transition, automatically reducing (208) temperature, and maintaining (210) the lower storage temperature. The system uses dielectric fluid and a thermally insulated enclosure. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
