Abstract: The invention discloses a Structured Haptic Blind-Spot Warning System with Adaptive Warning Hierarchy for Two-Wheelers to improve rider situational awareness by communicating blind-spot conditions through structured directional haptic feedback. The system comprises a Blind-Spot Detection Module, a Blind-Spot Evaluation Module, a Threat Classification Module, an Adaptive Warning Hierarchy, a Structured Haptic Warning Framework, a Directional Haptic and Visual Alert Module and a Continuous Monitoring and System Management Module. Detected blind-spot conditions are evaluated using programmed decision rules and classified into warning levels comprising Safe, Advisory, Warning and Critical conditions. The Structured Haptic Warning Framework converts each warning level into directional vibration pattern synchronized with visual indications to communicate the location and severity of the detected traffic condition. The invention enhances rider awareness, reduces cognitive workload and visual distraction, improves lane-change decision-making and increases operational safety for motorcycles, scooters and other two-wheelers.
