The method includes receiving a message that includes data radio bearer type information for a data radio bearer associated with the UE. The data radio bearer type information indicates a first configuration or a second configuration of dual radio protocol configurations. And the method includes routing traffic carried on the data radio bearer to the first configuration or the second configuration of the dual radio protocol configurations based on the data radio bearer type information.
